Available Positions: BEL Central Government Jobs

Trainee Engineer – I (20 positions)

  • Reservation: UR-10, OBC-05, EWS-01, SC-03, ST-01
  • Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science (55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC, Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD)
  • Experience: Fresher with skills in C++, Java, Algorithm Development, SW Documentation
  • Age Limit: Not more than 28 years (as of 01.06.2023)

Project Engineer – I (30 positions)

  • Reservation: UR-14, OBC-08, EWS-02, SC-04, ST-02
  • Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science (55% & above for GEN/EWS/OBC, Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in C++, Java, SW Testing, SW Documentation, Python, etc.
  • Age Limit: Not more than 32 years (as of 01.06.2023)

Project Officer – I (Human Resources) (1 position)

  • Reservation: UR-01
  • Qualification: MBA/MSW/PG Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in HR (55%)
  • Experience: 2 years in HR roles & responsibilities
  • Age Limit: Not more than 32 years (as of 01.06.2023)

Project Engineer-I (Material Management) (1 position)

  • Reservation: UR-01
  • Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) (55%)
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years with knowledge of procurement, material management, logistics, etc.
  • Age Limit: Not more than 32 years (as of 01.06.2023)

Terms of Engagement & Allowance:

  • Trainee Engineer – I: Engaged for 2 years (extendable to 3 years), with a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/-, Rs. 35,000/-, and Rs. 40,000/- for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, respectively.
  • Project Engineer/Officer – I: Engaged for 3 years (extendable to 4 years), with a consolidated remuneration starting from Rs. 40,000/- and reaching Rs. 55,000/- in the 4th year.

Upper Age Limit:

  • Trainee Engineer – I: Not more than 28 years
  • Project Engineer/Officer – I: Not more than 32 years
  • Relaxations: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability.

Educational Qualification:

  • Trainee Engineers: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science.
  • Project Engineers: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science.

Educational Qualification (Contd.):

  • Project Officer – I (Human Resources): MBA/MSW/PG Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in HR.
  • Project Engineer-I (Material Management): BE/B.Tech (Mechanical).

Note: Candidates should have qualified from AICTE/UGC approved institutions with 55% and above for GEN/EWS/OBC and Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD. Attach the Provisional/Final Degree Certificate with the application.

Post Qualification Experience (as of 01.11.2023):

  • Trainee Engineer – I: Fresher with skills in C++, Java, Algorithm Development, SW Documentation.
  • Project Engineer – I: Minimum 2 years in C++, Java, SW Testing, SW Documentation, Python, etc.
  • Project Officer – I (HR): Minimum 2 years in HR roles & responsibilities.
  • Project Engineer-I (Material Management): Minimum 2 years in relevant industry roles.

Note: Post-qualification work experience certificates/documents must be provided, and experience prior to completion of B.E/B.Tech will not qualify.

Selection Procedure:

  1. Eligible candidates will undergo a Written Test (85 marks) followed by an Interview (15 marks).
  2. Selection ratio for the interview will be 1:5 based on merit, category, and discipline.
  3. Names of shortlisted candidates will be notified on the company’s website.

Note: SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from the application fee.

Documents to be Uploaded:

  1. SSLC/SSC/ISC marks card or valid documents for proof of date of birth.
  2. PUC/12th Class Marks card.
  3. Final degree/Provisional Degree certificate.
  4. Norms for CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade/document for percentage/class.
  5. Caste/Tribe/Community/Disability/Economic status Certificate (if applicable).
  6. Post qualification work experience certificates from previous/current employer.
  7. NOC for candidates employed on a permanent/fixed-term basis in Govt./Quasi Govt.
