Position 1: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • No. of Positions: 1
  • Qualification:
  • MSc. Neurotechnology, MSc. Neuroscience, MSc. Cognitive science, or equivalent (preferred)
  • NET qualified or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages
  • Good writing and communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Kannada and Hindi
  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month
  • Work Location: NIMHANS, Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct observational cross-sectional study
  • Validate wearable devices against polysomnography
  • Conduct overnight polysomnography and other tests
  • Document and follow-up with patients
  • Prospect for Ph.D. under the project

Project Duration: 36 months

Position 2: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • MPhil Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. Psychology, or equivalent (preferred)
  • NET qualified or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages
  • Good writing and communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Kannada and Hindi
  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month
  • Work Location: NIMHANS, Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct observational cross-sectional study
  • Validate various wearable and non-wearable devices against polysomnography
  • Assess patient’s cognitive levels and administer cognitive assessments
  • Document and follow-up with patients
  • Prospect for Ph.D. under the project
